IMCAC Audits

The International Motor Carrier Audit Commission Carrier Rating Access System gives a numerical rating based on the on-road performance of a carrier, specifically: what a carrier’s accident rate is relative to other carriers who transport similar cargo. IMCAC uses the following rating system:

1. Superior Performance
   (Zero at fault accidents during review period)
2. Excellent Performance
3. Average Performance
4. Below Average Performance
5. Lowest Performance
